C&W Steakhouse is an independent fine-dining restaurant in the Ballantyne neighborhood of South Charlotte, North Carolina. We serve USDA Prime beef dry-aged on-site for 28 to 45 days, alongside fresh seafood, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine program. What sets C&W apart from other Charlotte steakhouses
- On-site dry-aging program (28 to 45 days) — visible from the dining room. Charlotte’s heat and humidity make off-site aging risky; we control the entire process from primal cut to plate. Our 35-day bone-in ribeye is the most-ordered steak on the menu.
- In-house butcher, hand-cut daily — every steak portioned the morning of service. No frozen, pre-portioned cuts. The butcher’s window-glass room is visible from the bar.
- Independent sourcing from Allen Brothers and Niman Ranch — we cherry-pick from each shipment and reject sub-standard primals. Marbling varies week to week because we serve the best of what arrived, not what a corporate contract obligates us to buy.
- Live jazz Thursday–Saturday — rotating local Charlotte musicians, 7:00 PM–10:00 PM in the dining room and bar. No cover. Set list leans Great American Songbook with rotating quartet leaders.
- Three private dining rooms (20–80 guests) — for weddings, corporate dinners, and milestone birthdays. Each room has dedicated service staff, custom menu options, and a full bar.
